Adults, Families and Couples Counseling
Our family impacts all of us and is the foundation for developing who we become. Our self-concept and self-esteem is largely tied to what we experienced in our early years. Individual counseling can help improve a healthy frame of mind. Family therapy provides the opportunity to develop or maintain healthier family connections. Through focused work on communication and behavioral interventions, we can work toward accomplishing your goals. We provide counseling for the family as a whole, couples’ counseling, and individual treatment for ages 12 and up. We specialize in Christ Centered Christian Counseling. We also provide assessments and treatment for domestic violence, including Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP) and victim support services.
Trauma-Focused Care
Trauma affects brain development differently for each person. The changes in brain functioning that are necessary to survive during trauma can later become obstacles for healthy relationships and overall well-being. We offer many different options to process trauma-related issues and will work together to find the right fit for you. We offer Trauma-Focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
Substance Abuse Treatment
Substance abuse has the possibility of impacting nearly all aspects of a person’s life. It is often passed down through generations and significantly impacts family interactions. In our treatment, we work with individuals to identify what recovery looks like to them for an individualized approach. We also work with the family members to create a unified and supportive approach to healing for each affected person. We offer Motivational Interviewing, and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
